Here are some examples of the newsletters I am in charge of creating and writing for my internship at Latin Americans United for Progress.

I have been involved with this organization since July of 2007. During my time here, I have been able to hone my skills as a journalist, incorporate my skills with the Spanish language and understand how a non-profit organization operates.

February, 2008 Newsletter



This is the newsletter that was the most exciting to write. Election season is an important time, and I wanted to share my excitement with others in order to encourage them to vote. I catered a piece in this issue toward the Hispanic community so that more people will be driven to vote based on issues that affect them.
